Danny's Dreadful Drowning Incident | Primary School Essays | Elijah Wee | Singapore

Here's another harrowing experience about " Danny’s Dreadful Drowning Incident" . The incident that occurred to Danny always sends shivers down his spine whenever he recalls it. In fact, Danny can remember the incident so vividly till this day. The chain of events started on a Saturday afternoon. Fluffy white clouds floated across the clear blue sky. The sun blazed unforgivingly. The sand glittered gold in the sun as Danny, Dick and Tim, most affectionately known as The Three Musketeers played with their red beach ball. There were a lot of people at the beach. Some were sun tanning, while others were having a picnic. Adrenalin pumped through their bodies as the three boys played “Catch it if you can!” Danny taunted both Dick and Tim. At the same time, he tossed the beach ball with all his might beyond Dick and Tim’s reach. The ball landed onto the deep end of the water. A current had carried it further away from the shore. What a close shave! (drowning incident) | Essay for 10 year olds | Elijah Wee | Singapore

Here is another work of mine from my Primary Four class work in Ngee Ann Primary School - "What a close shave" .          The sea glittered invitingly. “Remember the golden rule. Always safety first!” my mother reminded us before dropping Matthew, Venes and me off at the beach. I stole a glance at Matthew. He had a tanned body, jet-black hair and piston-like legs. She has luxurious raven dark hair and a lovely face accompanied by straight eyebrows. She has the most enchanting smile I had ever seen. Maybe I could win her heart if I showed off my perfected swimming skills to Venes. Matthew would definitely be envious! Was it a good plan or what?          On establishin...

A near drowning incident | Essay for 9 year olds | Elijah Wee | Singapore

What a harrowing experience to have nearly drowned - here's my essay on "A near drowning incident" , written when I was 9 years old.              A soft wind whizzed through the crisp morning air, causing the emerald leaves of the nearby Angsana trees to rustle. Plants swayed in the breeze, as if dancing. Glistening drops of morning dew could be found dotted on them. The sun had risen majestically up into the sky, sending down the warm rays of the sun. It was the perfect day for swimming.             “Tom, Jim, Mike, Luke, since it’s such a nice day, would you like to go to the beach for a swim with me?” Dick suggested enthusiastically to his four best friends who were staying at his house that night.   Without hesitation, Dick’s friends agreed, nodding eagerly.   Moments later and Dick and his friends had changed into their swimming trunks and set off for the beach.           ...
