I am back now with an essay I wrote about "The Killer Litter Incident"  during my Primary Three (i.e. 9 year old) days in Ngee Ann Primary School . “Goodbye, I will see you tomorrow!” Tom shouted as he waved farewell to his friend.  It was a sweltering hot afternoon and all Tom wanted to do was to have a cold shower.   With the image of cold water beating his back , Tom took to his heels and made his way. On his way home, Tom noticed a man on the fourth storey.  His face was a red mask of fury because he wanted some money from his wife to buy beer but his wife refused to give it to him.   The man had an angry expression on his face.   Tom saw him carrying a television set.   With an ear-piercing scream , the man threw the television set out the window.  Just then, an unsuspecting woman was walking by.    Tom tried to warn the woman but it was too late. This is an essay I wrote during my Primary 3 (9 year old) days - "Incident of the falling potted plant" . A blazing blue sky poured down torrents of light and sunshine freckled the ground .  Mr. Mark was watering his plants.  Despite perspiring profusely under the hot and humid weather, he whistled gaily . As he placed his water container back in a swift turn , his arm brushed against one of his potted plants and this resulted in the potted plant sailing through the air and hurtling towards to pavement below .  Mr. Mark, unable to rescue it, closed his eyes and prayed hard as the potted plant smashed to bits against the pavement.  There was a shocked passer-by who stood rooted to the ground.
