Blood is thicker than water | Essay for kids | Elijah Wee | Singapore

Many a time, you may have heard about the saying that "Blood is thicker than water" . Don't agree, well read on ...              Blood is thicker than water.             I had always despised him. I had always wondered why he had been treated better than me. He was always the apple of my parent’s eye. On the other hand, I was perpetually lashed out at. To me, I was the black sheep in my family. At school, he scored better results than me. He was none other than my brother, Jason. Little did I expect things to change for the better after that incident.             “ Your brother is really such a jerk. A painful lesson – a bully’s story | Essay for kids | Elijah Wee | Singapore

A painful lesson – a bully’s story             It was indeed a painful lesson for me.             I was the notorious school bully. My friends and I would usually go around picking on smaller built individuals. We would beat them to a pulp and found satisfaction in doing so. I felt sorry and agitated over the pain and the humiliation the victim had to go through. At the same time, I also felt very angry with the school bullies. “They have no right to bully the boy,” I thought to myself. Later in the day, I spent some time with my father discussing about school bullies . My father said, “School bullies are actually very insecure people. They always pick on meek people to bully so that they could feel more powerful than others.” My father advised me to be more open and inform my teachers and him if I encounter school bullies. I nodded appreciatively and replied, “Thanks dad for explaining to me about school bullies and giving me support.” I then gave my...
