Family outings are supposed to be experiences filled with fun. However, a twist came into being with the following essay "The Family Outing - an incident to remember" .     A family outing.     That is what we are going to do now – to leave our house for our camping site at the East Coast Park. “Hurry up Amy or else I shall inform Father to leave without you!” Evan, my little brother, hollered at me impatiently at the top of his voice. "Picnic in the park - a family outing" - that's a real fun family outing and is also the title of my essay here from my Primary Two collection. It was a windy Saturday afternoon. Tom’s parents decided to bring Tom and his sister to the park for a picnic. Tom and his sister were excited as it was the first time they were going for a picnic. They packed everything they needed into the car, including a picnic mat, a picnic basket and some food. When they reached the park, they quickly took out and laid the picnic mat and picnic basket onto the soft grass. They ate the delicious sandwiches that their mother had prepared for the. Have you visited the Universal Studios at Sentosa, Singapore yet? I spent a most memorable day there and decided to write an essay about that trip. An Exciting Day at Universal Studios in Sentosa Last Saturday, my aunt and uncle fetched my parents and myself from our house to Universal Studios in Sentosa. My cousin, Chloe also tagged along with us. When we reached the destination, we found out that we were there early and the gates were still closed.                    After the gates were opened, we queued up at the ticket machine to scan our tickets to enter Universal Studio. After letting the ticket machine scan our tickets, we found ourselves in a place called “Hollywood”. First of all, we went to a place named “Madagascar” to try a ride which was called “A Crate Adventure”. Next we went to a rude called “King Julie’s party go around”....

Dear Journal, Yesterday, 20th March, my 2 cousins and I had an enjoyable time fishing for prawns at the Sin Ming Prawn Fishing area. Although the skies were still dark and it was still drizzling, that did not dampen our spirits as we chattered excitedly in our uncle's car all the way to our destination - Bishan Prawn Fishing (Hai Bin U Enterprise). The address of Hai Bin U Enterprise is Bishan Prawning Place, at No. 603 Sin Ming Ave, S(575735). After renting our fishing rods and selecting our spot, our parents started hooking the bait onto the hooks of the fishing rods before casting the fishing lines into the pond. We used both liver and earthworms for our bait. Prawn fishing is not easy. It requires lots of patience and skill. After letting a few prawns get away, my mother finally managed to catch a large prawn after about 15 mins! Here is a photo of us together with our catch!
