          My heart was in my mouth.          The living room was a sea of darkness, with brief lights from the television illuminating the room. I felt a sense of fear running through my spine. My heart palpitated with immense excitement as I watched the horror movie. Screams of agonizing pain and terrifying noises reverberated through my house. I was watching a horror movie entitled “Evil Dead”. Its special effects were tremendously amazing. I was so deeply engrossed that the buzzing of the streets, which sounded like humming flies failed to distract me.          Then, the real horror started.          Out of the blue, the television was mysteriously switched off and the entire living room was plunged into suffocating darkness, pitch dark.
