I will be posting up a couple of the school essays I composed during my Primary Three (9 year old) days at Ngee Ann Primary School . Here's one entitled "A friend in need on a rainy day" . It was raining heavily. Rain poured won in torrents. Lightning flashed and thunder roared. Janet was walking back home from school when the thunderstorm began. She immediately went to take shelter at a bus stop. Janet found that she was not the only one taking shelter at the bus stop. There were several adults, and even Janet’s friend, Anne was there. Janet found a seat beside Anne and sat on it. Janet then talked to Anne, “Hello, Anne.” “Oh, Janet, how nice to see you!” Anne said. Janet and Anne chatted happily as they waited for the rain to stop. They got to know about each other’s favourite books, interests and more. At that juncture, a truck appeared. It whizzed past the bus stop, splashing dirty water onto the people at the bus stop. Janet got drenched...
